Custom T Shirt Printing NYC

All over custom T Shirt Printing

There are two popular printing methods on all-over shirts, which include sublimation and screen printing. Sublimation printing is usually carried out on white synthetic materials such as polyester. Using heat and pressure, you transfer the design of specially designed printers to the substrate. The end result effectively dye the fibres without leaving any impression to the touch. Although this option is truly great for printing on T-shirts, there are only a few situations where this method can be used. Usually you see everything under sublimation in more sporty uses such as bike shirts, motocross shirts and other sportswear. Just like everything in silk-screen printing is recommended for cotton, everything in sublimation is recommended for white synthetic fibres. If you are looking for a more standard cotton T-shirt, stencil printing will be the best option for you everywhere.

The printing on the entire T-shirt is a bit more complicated than traditional screen printing, so there are a few more restrictions. T-shirt printing uses water-based ink, so we need cotton buds.

New York City printing uses modern silkscreen equipment to create your own custom print shirt. We use the alpha M&R printer, considered one of the best in the industry, creating all-over shirts with prints. It is an oval press and can be mounted for standard printing as well as for printing on all-over shirts. What is silk screen printing

Stencil printing, or screen printing, is the process of transferring the stencil print to a flat surface using a grid, ink and scraper. Screen printing is most often done on fabric and paper, but you can also print on wood, metal, plastic and even glass with specialized inks. The basic method is to create a stencil on a fine mesh, and then click on the ink (or ink in the case of art and posters) to create a print of your drawing on the surface below.

This process is sometimes referred to as “screen printing” or “stencil printing” and although the printing process itself is always quite similar, the method of creating a stencil may vary depending on the materials used. Different stencil printing methods include:

– Use of tape or vinyl to cover the required areas of the stencil.
– Application of mesh stencil using “stencil blockers” such as glue or varnish.
– Using a light-sensitive emulsion to create a stencil, which is then developed photographically (see our step-by-step guide for more details).

Only one or more shades of paint can be used in the stencil drawing. In the case of multicolored products, colors should be applied in separate layers, using separate stencils for each ink.

Why do we use screen printing?

One of the reasons why stencil printing technology is so widely used is that it produces bright colors even on darker fabrics. The ink or ink is also found in layers on the surface of the fabric or paper, giving the print a pleasant tactile quality.

The technology is also beneficial in that it allows the printer to easily reproduce the design several times. Since the same stencil can be used to repeat the design repeatedly, it is very useful to create several copies of the same article of clothing or accessory. This makes stencil printing a very effective technique in creating large batches of individual clothing for sports teams or work uniforms.

Using professional equipment, an experienced printer can also create complex designs in various colors. Although the complexity of this process means that the number of colors that can be used by the printer is limited, it still allows for more intensive coloring than is only possible with digital printing.

What is serigraphy for tshirts?

Serigraphy is a older term for screen printing, derived from “seri”, which means “silk” in Latin, and “graph”, which means “writing” in ancient Greek. Serigraphy has proved extremely popular, especially among young artists, because the overall process requires a minimum of equipment and materials, unlike most other forms of printing.

The medium is incredibly indulgent, easy to learn and adaptable. Serigraphy is almost camouflaged in quality because it can use so many different materials and related techniques. At the most basic level, screen printing involves coating portions of silk or similar material. At the beginning, the silk is stretched over an articulated frame at the footer. The image window is then masked with a ribbon and a silk or glue coating is applied.

Any part of the silk remaining in the exposure becomes a structure through which the paint or other pigment, such as paint, is pressed with a scraper or brush. This simplified description is hardly valid for the technical flexibility and artistic versatility of the product.

What is the difference between screen printing and digital printing?

Direct To Garment printing (DTG) uses a specialized textile printer – a bit like an inkjet printer – to transfer the image directly onto the fabric. It differs from screen printing in that a digital printer is used to transfer the image directly onto the fabric. As there is no stencil, it is possible to apply several colors at the same time and not in separate layers, which means that this technique is often used to print complex or very colorful designs.

Unlike stencil printing, a very small configuration is required, which means that fingerprinting is a more economical option for printing small batches of clothing or individual items. And because it uses a computer image instead of a stencil, it is ideal for creating photographic or very detailed designs. However, since colors are printed with CMYK-style color dots instead of solid ink blocks, it does not provide the same color saturation as stencil printing. It is also not possible to create textured effects using a digital printer.
