They’ll also be happy to know that the scratches on the graphics can be removed with soap and water, citrus detergents and, at the very least, scratch-free cleaning of the pads.

Avery film and vinyl materials offer some strategic direction: When you pull up your floor graphic, start at one corner and gently pull the material towards you at a 90 degree angle. You may need to use a dough knife to start the removal process.
The material should be removed cleanly. If there are adhesive residues on the edge of the floor, these can be removed by gently scraping with a dough knife or citrus cleaner. Dirty outline edges can also be noticed after removing the graphics, but this should be taken care of during normal floor cleaning.
